So, I forgot today I went on a bridge tour!! I got to see the whole place where the captain and his crew sit during the day and control the ship.. there were soo many buttons and things, it was crazy! i even got to sit in the captain's chair and get my picture taken!! the captain wasn't in there though, but the ship was on autopilot, so it was steering itself. there was a watchman in the bridge though looking out with binoculors for things that would be in the way of the ship.. like whales. we learned all about the ship and like how it works and everything.. we have 4 engines, only 1 was running today and i think its the only one usually running... but one engine has 11,300 horsepower or however you say that! so thats A LOT!!! and we have a water purification system that could make up to 20,000 tons of water an hour i think.. it sounds like a lot, but thats what me and my roommate remember him saying! crazyy!!
ok, well i thought you would like to hear that.. its bedtime for me now!
