Today is Class day 13 and we are more than half way through classes!!! A little before noon, we anchored in Bulgaria... but we aren't getting off the boat until tomorrow!! Do you have any idea how annoying it is to see the beautiful coast of a country and not be able to get off the boat!? I layed out after class today and the whole time I wished I was on the beach I was staring at and swimming in the Sea to cool down.. Black Sea to be exact!
So, that's how my day has been.. class, class, class... seeing land and being stuck in the ocean! Now I know how most of the crew feels when we are in port on the days they aren't allowed off of the boat! I feel bad for them!
Right now we are in our pre-port meeting learning about Varna, Bulgaria and what to expect and what precautions to take.. and yes, I am paying attention, don't worry! From hearing about Bulgaria, it seems like it will be somewhat like Croatia, relaxation on the beaches :)
I will update tomorrow night about how my first day in Bulgaria was!!!
